During your first appointment, Dr. Mickle will discuss your smile and your goals for your makeover. He will evaluate your smile and outline a personalized plan with suggestions for achieving your ideal smile. Once a treatment plan is agreed upon, he will take an impression of your teeth. This impression will be used by our lab to create temporary veneers for your trial smile.
Dr. Mickle will apply your temporary new smile during the second appointment. This unique step allows you to test-drive your improved smile. After wearing the temporary veneers, you will provide feedback on their look and fit. Based on your feedback, a master ceramist will create a new mold before crafting the final veneers.
During your third appointment, Dr. Mickle will fit you with your new permanent veneers, giving you your new smile. He will make any necessary re-contouring adjustments and apply the finishing touches to ensure your smile is perfect.
Veneers, when treated properly, should look and feel great for up to 15 years after their placement. Most patients forget they have them after a month or so, as their facial muscles adapt to the new teeth, making them look even more natural than the day they were put in.
