Dentistry has evolved significantly over the past 40 years. While many dentists still rely on traditional methods, our Greenwood Village dental team is committed to using the latest technology to ensure greater accuracy and precision. This approach not only reduces recovery times, but also enhances patient comfort, allowing for faster and more effective results.

CT/Cone Beam X-Ray

The Vatech CBCT scanner offers high-resolution, panoramic images of a patient’s teeth, bite, jawbones, and other orofacial components (i.e., blood vessels, nerves, etc.). It is commonly used for individuals undergoing complex procedures, such as dental implant placement or root canal treatment. In less than one minute, the device scans the mouth and head, producing a three-dimensional model for accurate treatment planning.

Digital Impressions

With the iTero digital impressions system, our dentists can eliminate the need for cold dental putty and instead, provide a mess-free way to capture a precise model of a patient’s teeth and bite. The handheld device scans each tooth at various angles and generates a 3D picture on a chairside monitor. The digital image is then sent to a laboratory so that technicians begin to fabricate the custom restoration(s).

Soft Tissue Laser

Treating gum disease and eliminating bacterial accumulation is now much easier because of our Ultradent soft tissue laser. With optimal precision, the laser’s concentrated beam of light is used for bacterial reduction and scaling and root planing, effectively removing harmful plaque, tartar, and other particles. As a result, the patient can walk away with a healthier smile that is less likely to experience reinfection in the future.

Intraoral Cameras

Our Mouthwatch and iTero cameras make it easy to show patients what is happening inside their mouths. These pen-like devices project real-time images onto a chairside monitor so that we can easily see early signs of decay or other issues. They also help us educate individuals about their oral health and explain why specific treatments are recommended.
