She loves the creative and artistic aspect of dentistry as well as always having room to learn and grow each day. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. J’s father was an orthodontist, so she was always surrounded by dentistry. She cherishes the interpersonal relationships you can build through dentistry, the blend of art and science, and the fact that each patient leaves better off than when they arrived.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Jenkins earned her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis before graduating from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She then completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Throughout her career, Dr. Jenkins has worked in both public and private dental practices and has participated in numerous continuing education courses to further her expertise. She is committed to ongoing growth and learning in her field.

Dr. Jenkins is Invisalign-certified and a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society. She has also volunteered on dental and public health missions to Ghana, Honduras, and Jamaica, and regularly participates in local initiatives like Give Kids a Smile and Mission of Mercy.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Jenkins grew up in New Jersey and moved around the country for college and dental school before ultimately making Denver her home in the summer of 2023. Dr. J has a twin brother, knows how to juggle, and is an avid traveler. She has visited every continent except Antarctica and strives to pet every dog she sees.
